The HS is done! Less the fiberglass tips, of course. Into the house with it so that elevator work can begin in earnest this afternoon.
The HS is done and tucked behind the table for the duration.

Elevator Rib & Horizontal Stabilizer Riveting Progress
Lots of little foam ribs all cut out.
The new rivets arrived, so… I got the assembly prepared for the rear spar and began riveting it in place. The first quarter was done today and the rest is scheduled for tomorrow. Progress!
Horizontal Stabilizer Riveting Nearly Done…
Almost done; so close! I ran into a really unusual issue (an apparently bad batch of rivets), so HS completion – and commencement of the elevators – will have to wait until next week.
I’m sure that Jean will find other things for me to do this weekend… 😎
Horizontal Stabilizer Riveting Continues…
