Firewall forward continued…

The last four (at least for now!) Adel clamps loosely installed.

Mixture cable bracket installed.

Starter wiring underway.

Starter wiring complete.

Starter wires secured.

Fuel injector servo as received.

Fuel injector servo mount ready for its gasket.

Fuel injector servo installed and torqued. Inlet and outlet lines have also been connected and torqued.

Firewall forward underway

A fresh new Hartzell prop governor.

Prop governor bracket components being primed.

Interesting note that the governor bracket for the -8 was powdercoated steel and the -14A version is, obviously, aluminum.

The covered governor pad as received from Lycoming.

Cover removed and weeping a little oil.

Governor installed and torqued.

Governor bracket temporarily fitted, Adel clamps adjusted, and fuel injection line slightly massaged for clearance.

Fuel flow transducer (red cube) installed and fuel lines in process.

Sniffle valve installed and covered to prevent oil seepage.

Wings, Firewall Forward in process

Left wingtip nav light installed.

Left wingtip test fit again – this time to see if my screw countersinks fit the skin dimples. Success!

Wingtip rib installation underway.
