Finish kit crate (with FWF kit along for the ride) arriving. I really hate to watch this process…
The opened crate – ready for 2.5 days of unpacking and inventory. All done now, thankfully.
The assembled canopy release mechanism, now successfully (finally!!) installed.
Right side air vent mounted to fuselage.

Air vents assembled and awaiting bonding to the fuselage.
Right-side air vent all trimmed and ready to install. It’s always painful to alter a finished, manufactured part, but sometimes one simply must. The lower, inboard corners of each vent were rounded to match the supporting bracket per the plans.

Left-side air vent joins its mate.
Both NACA air vent scoops and matching brackets with first coat of paint done.
