The rudder skin is clecoed to the skeleton and the trailing edge is drilled; at this point, it’s ready for final disassembly for priming and dimpling prior to riveting.

Rudder construction begins, like much of the airplane’s various components, with fitting and assembly of the skeleton or sub-structure.


It took a few days, but the vertical stabilizer is finally done. Onward!
