Upper & lower longerons and side frame clecoed to left side skin.

Miscellaneous interior side skin components (stiffeners, armrests, brackets, etc.) all prepped and ready to install.

Firewall sides deburred (still have to be really careful; stainless edges are SHARP!!) and ready for dimpling.

Idler brackets riveted to bearing and bulkhead.

Not much to see today, but lots of preparatory work done with forward and center bottom skins, doublers, and stiffeners.

Tomorrow morning, the large center bottom skin will get dimpled and then the buildup of components on it will commence.

Fuselage, ribs, skins underway

Back at it after a day away from the project for Jeanie’s birthday yesterday.

Lots of little jobs to do today – nutplates, bushing clips, seat rib doublers, routing angles, and crotch strap brackets were all riveted in place. Various bolt holes were also reamed to final sizes.

Outboard seat and baggage ribs must be fluted to match the curve of the center bottom skin. Shown in work here.
