Wings, flaps mounting underway

Despite having to drive down to Sarasota today to visit my mother-in-law, I had to get something useful done on the project this morning before leaving. So…I mounted the left flap.

While that might not seem like much, it means that the left wing is now ready to temporarily mount on the fuselage. I’m aiming for late afternoon tomorrow, once some assistants become available. Standby…

Right flap now mounted to its wing which, itself, is ready to temporarily mount on the fuselage.

Unfortunately, I don’t have the space (despite having a 3-car garage dedicated to the project) to mount both wings simultaneously, so it’ll be one at a time with any remaining tweaks to be done at the hangar during final assembly sometime this fall.
